AURELIA CLACK

January 5, 1936 ~ June 5, 2024

Aurelia Evelyn Clack was born on January 5, 1936, in Guadalupe County to Reverend Leon Ussery Sr. and Eva Blakey Ussery. She was the 6th child of this union.

Aurelia Clack came to Christ at an early age and attended church with her parents. She later attended Lincoln Park Church where she participated in the choir and usher boards. She also attended Refuge Church of Christ.

Aurelia Clack attended school in San Antonio, Texas at Douglas Middle School and graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School.

Aurelia married Clyde A Clack in 1954 and had two sons Michael Leon Clack and Mark Alexander Clack. After Clyde's graduation from Hampton University, the family moved to Lynchburg Virginia in 1960. In 1966 the family returned to live in San Antonio, Texas.

Aurelia spent her time caring and raising her two sons. Additionally, she cared for a host of friends and family in San Antonio and had a passion for sewing for anyone who needed her expertise.

Aurelia Clack went home to be with her Lord on June 5, 2024. She was preceded by her parents, Leon and Eva Ussery, her husband Clyde Clack, brothers Roland, Benjamin, Daniel and Leon and sister Nellie, and great granddaughter, Zoey Clack.

Aurelia is survived by her sons Michael (wife Lisa) and Mark (wife Patricia), her brother Charles Ussery (wife Ramona) and sister Jennie Greene. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kevin and Brandon Clack (wife Cristabel), extended grandchildren Crystale, Sharmaine and Alonzo King III. Also, great grandchildren, Zion Clack, Nyla Clack, Noah Clack, Jayden Clack, Amariah Clack, and Keziah Clack. Also extended great grandchildren, Isaiah Love, Alonzo King IV and Nevaeh King. Also, a host of nieces and nephews.

Interment following service: June 22, 2024 12:00 am - August 26, 2025 2:30 pm
