  1. I am the mother of her granddaughter Erica and I been knowing Ms Hughes for 43 years and she always been a loving and kind person and I will miss her dearly and my Condolences to the family.

  2. She was one of the most beautiful and kindest person I have ever known. We worked together at SWBT for years and was friends for many more years. I will truly miss talking to her several times weekly. So long my friend, see you on the other side! Love you always.

  3. I saw a cardinal today and thought of you.
The saying is when cardinals appear an angel is near. Its hard to grieve your absence when your presence is everywhere.
I love you and will miss you granny

  4. My condolences to my auntie family. She was such a gentle soul. She would always call me to check on my family. She was there for us when our mom and dad passed away. She stepped us to be the constant in our lives. I will truly miss her beautiful spirit and her kindness. Rest well auntie. I will miss you. Love you always.

  5. I remember being younger at my aunt house and cousin Marilyn would always call and talk with her. She would often check on me after my aunt Naomi Sullivan King passed away. As the years went by we lost touch but I never forgot about her. Sleep Well in Jesus.

  6. Dear Madelynn & the Hughes family my condolences to you in the home-going of your beloved mother Marilyn Hughes. “She’s absent from the body but so present with the Lord.” May the Lord God’s Loving Almighty Presence of peace & comfort, strengthen you day by day. Praying for you & your family.

  7. I will always remember Ms. Hughes from the love she shared for my cousins Erica , Jasmine And Brenda. She also showed love to my Aunt Gwen as a deep love of a family. Rest well beautiful lady. My condolences to the family.

  8. I’m grateful to have met an amazing person. Mother Hughes was a kind and gentle woman. Small in frame but huge in spirit! Your beautiful smile, wisdom and humor will be greatly missed.
