My husband and I took a trip to San Antonio to visit our granddaughter Trinity. Trinity asked if she and her boyfriend Andrew could take us to the Alamo. We spent the whole day with Andrew and Trinity. It was a very nice day, the Alamo and lunch on the Riverwalk. It was so nice to meet Andrew, very respectful. Andrew and my husband John hit it off right away. We laughed and talked all day. When we heard they were engaged we were so happy for both of them.
I had the honor of serving with Andrew on the COVID-19 logistics mission. He was on the other team, though I spent little time with him he made a positive impression. During a particularly tough week where we had to go to Houston for a warehouse rearrangement, him and I were assigned to a portion of pallets to rearrange them. With his assistance, we knocked out the task expeditiously. He had a go getter mentality and was always accomplishing the task while making others laugh and smile. My thoughts are with his family during these trying times.
Such a beautiful soul lost.. it hurts to think about it but it also makes me happy to think of you. You made my sister so happy. Thank you for loving her unconditionally. Thank you for treating me like your own sister. You were truly a kind and caring person. You had a big heart and your smile lit up the whole room. I’ll never forever all the times we had.
