BONNIE FAYE BRICE

April 13, 1945 ~ September 23, 2022

Bonnie F. Brice began her journey on April 13, 1945 in Crockett, Texas. She was born to Carl and Geneva Holley who preceded her in death along with her ten brothers, Douglas, Larry, Carl, Grady, Arthur Ray, Wolf, Rob, Sonny, LC, Royce, four sisters, Mary, Betty, Ruby, and Carl Jewel. Two sibling still living one brother and sister, Dwight Holley and Julie Holley.

She accepted Christ at a young age at Bethel Baptist Church of Crockett, Texas. After leaving Crockett she join her late husband who joined the military in 1962 and they traveled extensively. She worked as a clerk within AAFES and her last two positions was as a manager of a Child Care Facility and Fort Sam Houston Harlequin Theater. She married her high school sweetheart, Cleotha W. Brice, January 9, 1963 and to this union, five boys were born, and raised.

They are Kenneth (Sharon) Berry, Victor (Trisha), Nathaniel, Steven and Daniel (Melissa) Brice.

She relocated with her late husband to San Antonio, where she joined the Mount Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Graham and most recently served as a Deacon under the leadership of Reverend C. Victor Herbin, Jr.

Mother Bonnie lived by the spirit instruments of God, His word, trusting God, prayers, unity, praise, and worship. Facing life trails, storms and tribulations, her trust and faith in God’s word never wavier. She knew that God is faithful to His word and that it is true and will come to past, if God said it; she knew that it would definitely come to past. This Woman of God was faithful to her family, church, and community.

Her love for the elderly was quite noticeable, she made sure that they were taken care of and fed. Anything that was asked of her, she did without questioning why. She loved her church, members and her pastor.

She participated in All Special Events with her financial support even if she could not attend. We will truly miss this Loving Soul from our membership.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, three grandchildren, Akeem and Kiara Berry and Victoria Brice along with a host of relatives and friends.

Guestbook

  1. I had the honor of working with Miss Bonnie at Harlequin Theatre for many years. She was much loved by her coworkers and customers and all who visited there. Bonnie was an excellent cook, and she put her love into everything she did.
