Dr. (Doc) Latimore was an amazing individual. Not only did he and Almie make time to celebrate our son Pyars graduation with dinner and laughter, but we fondly referred to him as Pyars surrogate father. He exuded humility, integrity, and devotion to his family, friends, and students. Please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss.
Dr. Rev. Latimore was a gift to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He encouraged and supported me in all of my endeavors and I will always hold him and his family in my heart.
Best,

Recently learned of the death of Carey Latimore, As a student at Middlesex High School, Saluda, Va, Carey was intelligent and thoughtful and an avid scholar. He had a great laugh and his interest in getting the best education he could was strongly supported by his mother, Ann, another bright spirit. It was good to learn that he had been so successful in his efforts to become a true scholar and a mentor to others. A life cut short in its prime. R.I.P. Carey.
