BARBARA JEAN BARNES
October 12, 1934 ~ March 12, 2022
Barbara Jean (Ward) Barnes was born in San Marcos, Texas to Jim and Myrtle Ward.
She was happily married for 68 years to Lloyd L. Barnes Sr. who preceded her in death. Barbara is survived by her children: Joycelyn M. Reese, Lloyd W. L. Barnes Jr. (Janice), Carolyn A. Martin (Larus), Robert A. Barnes, Darryl R. Barnes and Katherine I. Perry (Rhodia). She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Before retiring, Barbara was the Produce Department Manager at the Brooks Air Force Base Commissary in San Antonio Texas.
Services will be as follows
Viewing – Monday, April 4, 2022, 5 pm – 6:30 pm & Rosary 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm at Lewis Funeral Home, 811 S. W.W. White Road, San Antonio, TX
Funeral – Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 10:00 am, St. Benedict Catholic Church, 4535 Lord Rd, San Antonio, TX
Graveside service – Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 11:00 am, Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, (Shelter 4), 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX
