WILLIE EDWARD FOSTER,JR.

Willie Foster Jr. was born on April 27, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas to Willie and Nellie Foster Sr. Willie received his formal education at Booker T. Washington Elementary School, Douglas Middle School and St. Peter Catholic High School.

Willie accepted Christ at an early age at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and attended Mt. Sanai Baptist Church. Willie was a member at the Fred Brock American Legion Post #828. His hobbies were baseball where he played at an early age for the Washington All Stars. He also played football and loved to go fishing.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, grandmother Sadie Holmes, grandfather Charles Holmes, son Darrel l Peters, sister Ann Gibbs, brother James Foster and ex-wife Myetta Foster.

Willie leaves to cherish his memory, wife Schree Foster, sons Michael Green and Lavonte Woods, sister s Gladys Horns and Angela Foster, al l of San Antonio; six aunties and five uncles as well l as nieces and nephews, Dominique Thomas (Alexis), Andrea Harris (Emory), Imani Thomas, Tracy (Corrie), Calvin, Kevin,Jr., Kiara, Toi Johnson, Taniecia , Taurean, Tony (Trish), Michael and a host of great nieces and great nephews, cousins and other relatives. Special friends include Earline Scallion, Lance Tatum, Sarah Hayward, Charles Bel l and Jack Hall.
