Lucian Charles Williams, II entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 3, 2021, at the age of 57. He was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of San Antonio, Texas.
Lucian was born on February 5, 1964, to the union of Lucian and Lucille Emilien Williams in New Orleans, LA.
He was baptized at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on March 1,1964 and confirmed on July 20, 1975.
Lucian attended Thomas Alva Edison Elementary School, Alfred Lawless Junior High School and was a graduate of George Washington Carver Senior High School in 1982. He worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant over 30 years before he became ill. Lucian also was a DJ at several local bars in the Lower Ninth Ward, wedding receptions, reunions, and other celebrations.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donielle Swanson, his granddaughter, Rayanna Snell, his parents, Lucian and Lucille Emilien Williams, his sibling, Joann Williams Howard, and his nephew, Odell Williams, Sr.
Lucian leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Justin, and Lucian (Jackie) Williams, III; his daughters, Letisha Swanson and Dyshanae Marie Thomas; his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Ayesha, and Derrick Swanson, J’Airus, and Kalani Snell, Anita, Elijah, Aaliyah, Lucian and Aubrey Williams and Joseph Hicks; his sisters, Clara (Oneal) Henderson, Ella (Lionel) Carr, Williemae (Harold) Sims, Rosilyn (Kenneth) Dagins and Linda Smith; his Aunt Rose Allen; his godchildren, Bria Sims, Devin Owens, India Sorapuru and Tyrin Alexander. Devoted friend Shirley Mitchell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.





Lucian was a Great friend. He was a GOOD MAN. You will always be my Cousin.
