DON WYNN SMITH

Don Wynn Smith was born March 12, 1953 in Texarkana, TX to the late Sallie and Turner Smith. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital, Westover Hills, San Antonio, TX. A United States Air Force retired Disabled Veteran with a multitude of ribbons and Awards. He received his BS in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University and MHA in Healthcare Administration from Webster University. As well as retired from the City of San Antonio and the Defense Health Agency Medical Information Technology Center. His expertise was in Healthcare Administration, Acquisitions & Procurement Analyst. He enjoyed listening to jazz, playing golf, cooking, and hanging out with family and friends. Don (Mad Dog, Smitty, Donnie, Pop, Papa) left to mourn and cherish his loving memories, wife Patricia F. Smith, daughters: Melody R. Clausen (husband Knut Clausen) and KeYona C. Smith (partner Aaron J. Island), grandchildren: Aaron J. Island II, Kaiman C. Island, Kieran Island, sisters: Patricia and Barbara Smith, brother Jimmie Smith, many nieces/nephews and friends.
