On February 27, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas, Brian Lawson was born one of two brothers to the union of George J. Lawson and Juanita A. Lawson.
Brian graduated from Philis Wheatley High School in San Antonio, Texas and then decided to serve his country in the US Army. After leaving the Army he began a long career at Kelly Air Force Base and later transitioned to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma where he later retired.
He was a man that enjoyed fishing, watching his beloved Cowboys and barbecuing for his family and friends. He also enjoyed hanging with his granddaughter and showing his daughter the ways of a barbecuing man. Anyone that met him would tell you that he was a loving caring man that would give you his last if you needed it.
Brian is preceded in death by his parents George and Juanita Lawson and his brother James A. Lawson. Brian leaves to cherish his memory his only daughter; Sanasha Dukes, grandchildren; Ny’eemah and Lehjnd Phillips, nephews; Tyrone and Johnnie Lawson, nieces; April Prince and Stacey Johnson and a host of great-nieces and nephews and friends.
