DANIEL ALEX GRAVES

Daniel Alex Graves was born May 1, 1945, in San Antonio, Texas.  He was the only son of the late Alex and Sylvia Evelyn Graves.

Daniel, who was affectionately known as “Brother” departed this life on Friday, November 20, 2020. 

Daniel lived in East St. Louis, Illinois for several years before returning to San Antonio.  He worked in various capacities throughout his life.  He was known by all as a kind and gentle man.  He loved working on cars, putting together model cars and drawing.

Daniel was married to Augusta L. McBroom who preceded him in death.  He later met and married Juanice (June) Brown.

Daniel will be lovingly missed by his wife, June, of San Antonio, TX, daughter, Felicia L. Graves, of  East St. Louis, Illinois.  Stepchildren, Joy Watson Germany (Lamar), Pamela Watson and Karl Watson all of San Antonio, TX. Grandsons, Delvario D. Graves (Dontalesha), Kiowan E. Graves (Tyshae), Quavondris L. Graves (Keizze) all of East St. Louis, Illinois.  

Daniel also leaves to cherish his memory three sisters, Sylvia Evelyn Brown, Mayme Graves, both of San Antonio and Harriet Elliott of Houston, TX,  as well as several nieces, nephews, a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
