*THE VIDEO RECORDING OF THE SERVICE WILL BE AVAILBLE HERE BY 3:00 P.M. TUESDAY, NOVEMEBER 24, 2020*
Iris was born at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on May 26, 1967. She was 53 years young.
She graduated from Madison High School here in San Antonio.
Her father was Henry Williams and mother is Katie Williams. She has only one brother and no sister.
Iris was a learned individual. She built computers for 10-12 years. She was liked and respected in the company she worked for.
In her younger days after she graduated from high school, she didn’t come to family reunions or any of the holidays. She finally started coming around 5 years before the death of our father. She took care of her mother the best she could even though her health was deteriorating. Sometime she gave more of herself than she should have.
Iris was a good hearted person, but she was more to me than all of that. She was my sister.
All of us will miss your fun-loving ways.

So many memories of my life with Iris. She was one of my best friends – we met in 3rd grade – I saw her on the play ground and asked her if she wanted to be friends. We stayed in touch quite some time after high school – she was at the hospital after my son was born – and both of my daughters. I will say we lost touch about 15 years ago but she was always in my thoughts. I loved both of her parents. I hate that we drifted apart – life just gets in the way. My heart is broken right now. I love you Iris! I will cherish all of wonderful memories.
Iris Williams was a special friend in middle and high school. She was a genuine person that I could always call a friend. I would beg her to sing the Rolling Stones song “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” because she had the most beautiful singing voice. I always think of Iris when I hear that song. I trust that we will see each other again one day. God bless.
Iris is my first cousin our moms were twins. We spent a lot of time together as children but not so much as adults which I truly regret. My beautiful cousin you will be missed by many. May we all draw comfort from our hope in the resurrection, so sleep tight Cuz there’s more to come. With all my love Beverly Scott 💕
My heart felt condolences goes out to my Aunt Katie Lee and my cousin Donald Ray for the loss of daughter and sister, my first cousin. Iris will be missed. May she rest in peace, amen.
I will miss my Niece very much, we had little time together, but that time will be greatly remembered. She loved her Jewelry and she loved to look good. We would talk for hours on the phone about my sister, her mother Katie; Champ as we called her. Iris, I am going to miss you. We were looking to see you here in Columbia for Thanksgiving. You may not be here Physically, but you will always live in our hearts forever. Love you girl.
Elaine is my Niece, I will truly miss her. She loved to talk about her Jewelry her clothes and make-up. She loved to look fabulous, as she would say. We didn’t get to spend a lot of time together but we would talk on the phone for hours, talking about her mother, my sister Katie (Champ) as we called her, and her bother Donald Ray.
We were all looking forward to seeing her here in Columbia for Thanksgiving. She won’t physically be here, but Iris Elaine will always live in our hearts. I love you girl.
My memories of Iris are all filled with laughter. She had a great sense of humor. I remember visiting when she lived at her parents house. Also many years when I came to Texas, I would stop to see her. Ray is my best friend in Texas, and we spent a few nights visiting with Iris. She was a special person. She will be mush missed.
Condolences to Sis. Katie Williams and Family….
