  5. I admired Harvey’s joyful spirit with laughter and fun. He was adventurous, a self taught musician, business and family man. A Christian who started playing his bass guitar in the church.  Love to cook…I will never forget , the red bean and rice competition with my mother. There was a tasting contest and Buster won,. ..but he had to kiss up to Mom, with flowers, because she was not happy. From that day, their friendship became stronger.  Many fun memories with Harvey. My family and I will keep these memories always.  Condolences to all of the family members, Erik , Erika, and the grandchildren.  My heart goes out to all of you,.

  6. Harvey or Buster as he was affectionately called was my 1st cousin who morphed into my big brother that encouraged the tomboy/independent spirit in me that defines the strong woman I’ve become. Be it playing marbles in the dirt, riding mini bikes, fixing a bike, playing/watching sports (especially football), shooting a good game of pool, ability to drive a ‘stick shift’ or whatever-he supported and taught me all with patience and a ‘full serving’ of humor! Words cannot adequately express what this loss means to me but my heart still smiles for having him for my 63 yrs and I’m truly blessed/highly favored for this gift. RIHP Buster. You’re forever in my heart.
