SHIRLEY RUTH CROSS

Shirley Ruth Cross was born in Caldwell, Texas, on January 10, 1949, to Booker Pittman and Corene Pittman. She accepted Christ, and was baptized at an early age. She received her high school education. She loved God, people and her family. She loved music, singing and dancing. Shirley was an awesome cook, and taught her children at an early age, how to cook and be domesticated.

Shirley married the late Eugene Cross on January 31, 1978. Shirley had six brothers and three sisters. She was the youngest of the girls.

Shirley Ruth Cross is preceded in death by her late husband, Eugene Cross of Suffolk, Virginia. She was a domestic goddess and mother of five children: Tammy Pittman of Denver, Colorado, Patricia A. Cross, Teka C. Cross, Joel E. Cross and Connie V. Cross, all of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren, Joshua Pittman, Dominique Baca, Mareinique Cross, Joseph Feagin II, Naiya Baker, Khamyrn Cross, Jayden Torres, Audrina Martinez, and a host of other relatives and friends.
