I’m a Woman Marine Veteran and had the HONOR to meet Mr. Johnson. Every time I saw him I would make it a point to greet him. I can say I knew a Tuskegee Airman. He will truly be missed. Kendel ScaffeÂ
I’m sorry to hear of Mr. Johnson’s passing. My father, Thomas Ellis, considered him a very good friend. May his memory be a blessing to all of you.

To Johnson family my deepest sympathies from Castillo family to yours our thought and prayers for y’all. I know Ted from church St. Joseph’s we would sit in last 2 rolls with our family and all loud kids he loved us he would always come and talk to us . He would call my daughter Julie his valentine baby cause her bday was day after valentines one year she was all dressed up and he asked why and we told him today is her bday and he gave her $10 and always asked where is the valentine baby now she is 16 I informed her that I heard sad news this Sunday at church and we both geared up together poor ted has passed. I knew him from H-E-B on new Braunfels I worked there for 10yrs I would see him come in sometimes or just in neighborhood waiting for bus when ever I would offer a ride he would always tell me No it’s ok I’ll wait for bus.
