OBITUARY
Gwendolyn E. Childress was born February 15, 1949 to Florene Wallace.
She became a member of Second Baptist Church at an early age, attending services with her mother who was the musician.
She graduated from Highland High School in 1967. She became a professional cook for Trinity College and later for Luby's Cafeteria where she retired after ten years.
Gwendolyn leaves to cherish her memories, daughter Kimberly Wells (William), sons Arthur White and William Childress (Marquita), grandchildren Lavon, Olivia Shkayla, Darius, Iklisdom; great-grandchildren Mikayla, Arianna and Jesiah; one Godson Jamos Barros.
