I grew up two blocks from Gladys on Mt. Pilgrim Hill near Mt. Pilgrim Church. Pumpkin, as we all new her was a kind and friendly person. As years past we would regular meet at the store or other places around in Gonzales. Gladys would always greet you with a warm hello and call you by your name. Wanted to know if you were doing alright. I missed seeing Gladys out and about in the last few years. Â
I remember going to church services at the church where Gladys was the musician. When she played the piano and sang for the Lord, she made a joyful noise. Â
I was not aware of her passing until today 5/16, while reading the local news paper. My Condolences to Bro. Brazil. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that the Lord and Savior will never leave you nor forsake. The Lord Bless and Keep you in His Care.Â
