RODERICK T. BLUEFER

July 18, 1968 ~ March 22, 2019

THE RECORD

Roderick Tyar Bluefer,a native of Brinkley, Arkansas was the elder of two sons born to
Betty JeanCarpenton and Johnnie Bluefer. He was privileged at a young age to
experience travel as the Son of a military father, an active United States Army soldier.

Helivedin Germany, Philippines, Kenya; Saudi, Arabia and the United States.

He attended elementary school in Killeen, Texas and high school at American High .
School in Wurzbach, Germany. He finished high school at E1lison High in Killeen,
Texas.

A foundation of discipline and achievement was as integral part of his life and he
followed in his father's footsteps by enlisting in the United States Navy. He was a
warrior of Desert Storm in Saudi, Arabia and other locations in the United States. After
serving ten years in the Navy as a Petty Officer he retired. After retirement he enrolled in
several technical schools in order to enhance his skills and knowledge.

WOW! Did he ever love to cook and he pampered not only his family, with his
outstanding culinary skill, but his friends as well. Whenever he called and said he would
be cooking. everyone came with their take home dishes. Oh how we will miss his fried
short ribs.

Religion was an integral part of his life. While he was formally a Baptist, he would
worship wherever there was a House of God. His motto was with God's help he could
accomplish anything. His favorite phase was "Only God can judge me".

Rodney was a devoted son who always made sure that all of his mother's needs were
met. He served as a loving confidant for his brother and all extended family members.
He was a loving friend to everyone and dearly loved by all.

In 2013 he met the love of his life Ms. Karen Washington. He pampered her beyond
belief with his love. He cooked and served her daily, as well as supported.all of her
professional and social activities, with enthusiasm and vigor.

He 'Was preceded in death by his loving father, Johnnie Birl Bluefer and a devoted uncle
Sammie Joe Bluefer.

He leaves to mourn his demise his mother.Mrs. Betty Jean Bluefer, Killeen. TX.

Ark., Lottie Bell. Little Rock, Ark. Cousins, Christopher (Alice) Bell, Little Rock, Ark.
and Cynthia Elaine Bluefer (Mitchell) Dallas, Tx.

  4. To the Bluefer Family. As a member of the WAHS family Rodney has been in all of our hearts and minds since we met in school. The bond created in that time can and never will be broken. We say goodbye for now, but Rodney will see us again. Rodney, you are gone from this earth, but you will never be forgotten. Wolves are howling all around the world for you.
