Willard (Bill) Tiller Jr. was born on June 1, 1950 to Florence and Willard Mason Tiller in Fort Lee, Virginia He is preceded in death by his parents and his son.
Bill was married to Comel Tiller for 47 years. Within this union, a son was born. He leaves to cherish his memory: a sister, Debra Brockington (Curtis), two brothers: Terry Tiller (Helen), Louis Tiller (Pat). Six nieces: Ticia Tiller, Terra Smith (Jarrod), Jackie Benjamin, Tammy Tiller, Kendra Peoples and Keeshema Richardson. Included within the union are Charlotte Harper (Fred) sister-in-law, Arthur Brown (Paula) brother-in-law and Clara Stewart mother-in-law.
Bill was a generous and loving son, husband, father and friend. He taught his family the value of honesty, hard work, and kindness to everyone he met. He believed no one should be allowed to end the day with anger in his/her heart. As a family, all issues occurring during the day, had to be resolved before going to bed.
Bill attended the University of Texas at El Paso, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Coursework toward an MBA at North Texas State University. He went into retirement after his employment with Lockheed Martin as Chief Technology Officer. During his early years, he was extremely active in the community. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and mentoring young professionals in the technology field. His greatest love was his wife Comel and his greatest accomplishment was ensuring his family felt supported and loved.

Bill Tiller, Jr. was a fine man and a true friend.  Bill was an extraordinary employee, manager, executive and colleague.  Bill had a great sense of humor and a great laugh. Bill enjoyed his God, his family, his work and his friends.  I flew many a mile, ate many a meal, worked on many challenging and successful client engagements and played many rounds of golf with Bill. I, along with his loving wife Comel and their families together with all the many friends  and work mates Bill made and cherished over his lifetime, will deeply miss this genuine and fine man. May Bill Tiller rest in our Lord’s Eternal Peace in Paradise.
I am so sorry to learn about Bill Tiller Jr passing. He was a great man that I admired greatly. He was intelligent and a great jokester. His golf game wasn’t the best but he was always a blast to play with. My thoughts and prayers are with you Comel.
Please accept my deepest condolences.
Losing a loved one is probably the biggest heartbreak of them all, but there is hope. Revelation 21:3-4 states. 3. With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4.And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.†This is a promise from Jehovah God.
To The Tiller, Jr. Family & Friends, we wish to extend our deepest condolences and hope you will find comfort
and peace in this scripture, John 11: 1-44.Â
To Comel and family, I am so sorry for your loss. In the days to come when you are remembering Will and all the wonderful memories you made, may you also find comfort in the Bible’s promise that one day soon that great enemy “Death, will be swallowed up forever “ -Isaiah 25:8. Then we can look forward to when Our loved ones will be resurrected to life on a Paradise earth. -John 5:28,29.
