Guestbook

  1. Cousin Mable is a beautiful soul. The kind of person that made you feel that you’d known her for a lifetime even if you just met. Her sense of humor will make you laugh like nothing you’ve ever experienced. I was only blessed to hear her story telling for a short time, but I loved every minute of it. I got a history lesson and a good laugh all at once. I feel so blessed that I got to share a moment in time with her. “Forever Family” Cousin Vickie

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mother Mable. I was priviledged to meet her last November while in San Antonio. She was definitely a kind, loving woman, always willing to help in anyway possible. I shall never forget her assistance during my sister-in-law’s illness, her calls and sincere concern.

God bless each and everyone of you. Please know, He will strengthen and comfort you today and in the days to come.

    Hugs & Love,

  7. I affectionately called her Miss. Mable. We were in the Government Girls together. She was always a sweetheart and a giving person. She will be missed. Rest in heaven Miss. Mable.🙏🏾

  8. To the family of Ms Coleman, my deepest condolences.  My mother, Sallie Scott, and Ms Coleman were members of the Government Girls and the San Antonio Black Nurses Association together, and I remember her from years of planning meetings, Cancer Teas, blood pressure screenings, MLK Marches, you name it, and I was tagging along as a young girl with them.  She was always so full of energy and laughter.  She and my mom laughed together every time they got together.  She  will be dearly missed and very fondly remembered.

  9. I have nothing but the fondest memories of this special lady.  Mrs. Coleman was a real sweetheart!  She & I met over 10 years ago, during my tenure with the American Cancer Society.  We immediately hit it off and became fast friends.  She was such a joy to be around, and it was easy to love her.  My life was made richer for having known this beautiful soul.  “Mable Coleman”, your life was truly well lived!  May you forever RIP, sweet lady!

To the family:  Thank you for sharing Mable with the rest of us.  You all have my sincere condolences.
    Mary Anderson-Williams

  10. I only met her a few years ago but is seems as though I’ve known her all my life.  She was life, full of it. She was the life you feel when someone hugs you and you still feel that hug with they let go.  She was laughter which was infectious the kind of laughter that  made you want to be around her and look for any opportunity to do so.
Mable you will truly be missed on this earth but I know you will never be forgotten.
Now you and your buddy Alma can have fun again.
    Love

  11. Ms Coleman was a classy lady. So beautiful inside and out! She was a tenant in my duplex, then later bought her own building. I admired her zest for life. We had heartfelt fellowship each time we met.
I’m honored to have known Ms Coleman and will cherish precious memories.
