GWENDLYN DAVIS
November 18, 1950 ~ November 8, 2018
Gwendolyn Davis was born in San Antonio, Texas to Louise and Wilbert Thomas.
She leaves behind 6 children and a bonus son to cherish her memories: Tanya Wilkes, Francesca Brown (Richard Brown), Kathy Davis, Kelly Davis, Leroy Davis, III and Lawrence Davis (Lana Davis); James S. Johnson, Jr. (Esther Johnson). Also is survived by her siblings Carolyn Steward (Charles Steward), Clarence Thomas (Marian Thomas) and Lawson Thomas (Sheila Thomas). She also leaves behind 19 grandkids, 4 great grands and a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lottie B. Anderson.
Her home going celebration will be Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Baptist Church; 1002 Live Oak Rd., Schertz, TX 78104.

So sorry for your loss. Loosing someone in death is not what our Heavenly Father wanted for us. His purpose was for us to have everlasting life. But his purpose hasn’t changed as Ps 37:29 promises. Also he gives us a hope of seeing our loved ones during the resurrection promised at John 5:28,29. Hope that is comforting for family and friends of Mrs. Davis as it has always been for me.
To the Davis Family: May the God of all comfort give you peace and comfort at this most difficult time.
