The McVea family
Brother McVea was a true mentor to me and a visionary leader. I often remember those days with the Young Men For Christ at New Light Baptist.  I remain active in the Church today from the seeds he planted
We will forever miss Deacon McVea at New Light. He was a strong pillar at our church. His uncompromising commitment & dedication to the church was par excellent. Every Sunday, he greeted fellow church members with a friendly smile & warm spirit. Deacon McVea truly exemplified a Willing Worker for Christ and has left each of us a wonderful example to follow. I know he is resting in Heaven with our Lord and Savior.
May the God of all comfort strengthen the entire family during this time of sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. (Psalms 116:15) My sincerest sympathy
