Robert Leigh Polite

Robert Leigh Polite was born on September 20, 1941 in West Palm Beach, Florida to George and Susie Polite. They later moved to West Philadelphia, PA where he received his education until joining the army. He served for 24 years. He continued his career and worked civil service for 26 years.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Polite, and his mother, Susie Polite.
He met and married Nelda Polite on February 10, 1982. They were married for 36 years.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Nelda Polite, sons, Dr. Robert C. Polite (Mariette), Roland Polite (Jane), daughter, Robin Robertson (Michael). Son, Jermaine Polite (Shiana), three brothers, Elmo Polite (Philadelphia, PA), Richard Polite ( New Jersey) (Gloria), Frankie Polite , Frankie Polite (Germany), and sister, Roslyn Kent (Philadelphia, PA). He had 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
