Born Elizabeth Ann Blackwell on 7 July 1953 in San Antonio, TX to Hosie & Elizabeth Blackwell, who preceded her in death in 1973 and 2007 respectively. It was at New Light Baptist Church under Reverend Dr. P.S. Wilkinson, Sr., that she gave her life to the Lord at the early age of six. She attended Phyllis Wheatley High School and graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1971. The same year she married Mr. Carl Hunter, and from this union three children were born.
Elizabeth worked in several capacities, such as: unit secretary at Robert B. Greene Hospital; in-home care provider; and telemarketer, but her most passionate career was as an Independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant.
She continued to serve the Lord, as a member of True Vision Church, serving under Pastor Brown for over twenty years where she actively participated in her favorite activities: Sunday School and Lunch with the Lord.
Elizabeth, affectionally known as Ann, Liz, and Liz Ann was a giver from her heart. Always grateful, she was outgoing, high-spirited and enjoyed most to be surrounded by family and friends. Liz was known to be a fashionista. Always shopping for beautiful purses, shoes, and bold jewelry! Never leaving the house without a pair of stylish sunglasses.
Elizabeth leaves behind three daughters: La Tonya, Tanisha, and Crystal. Her brothers, Roger, Robert, Charles, and Michael. She also leaves behind nine grand-children; Karla Ann, Jacqueline, Sierra, Carl, Charles, Javon, Alesia, Altavia and Elijah, in addition to one great-grand child, Kaiden, twelve nieces and nephews, and a host of loving relatives & friends.

This is a very difficult time for you, having lost loved ones myself in the past. Know that our loving heavenly father knows and understands the many pains that you bear, at this time. Constantly talk to God in prayer: (Psalms 55:22). The Holy Scriptures assures us that your loved ones will live again by means of the resurrection. – Act 24:15Â
