Robert Maurice Proctor affectionately known as “Bob” was born on July 16, 1952, in Verdun, France to Josephine and Walter Proctor. Robert remained in France until his family relocated to Washington, DC. Robert graduated from Mackin High School in May of 1971. Upon graduating from Mackin High School Robert enlisted in the military. He served in the Army, Marines and completed service with the Air Force in July of 1975. Robert then spent a short time working as a Bexar County Deputy and then began working Civil Service at Kelly Airforce Base as an Aircraft mechanic. In 1994 Robert resigned from Kelly Airforce base due to his physical health. On November 12, 1977, Robert married the love of his life Lynda Carol White and gained his first daughter Carole. To this union four children were born Le’Var, Sara, Troy, and Stephanie. Robert was a devoted husband and father. He accepted Christ in his life in 1996 and joined Lilly of the Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Robert served as a deacon, sang in the Men’s Chorus and worked on Building and Maintenance committee of the church for 20 years until his health began to fail. He is always going to be remembered for his fashion and love of fragrance. He is proceeded in death by his parents Walter and Josephine, sister (Evelyn) and son (Le’Var). He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 47 years Lynda, daughters Carole Jefferson (Anthony), Sara Perkins (Andrey), Stephanie Armstrong (Glen) son Troy Proctor(Liz) all residing in San Antonio TX. Brother Jean Pierre and sister Nancy Proctor of Maryland. Robert, also known as G-Daddy leaves seven grandsons Isaiah, Glen, Robert (Papi), Noah, Myles, Joshua, and Levi. Two granddaughters Exaiah and Glennaysha. His puppy and snack buddy Bishop as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
